NevyntOS uses a small number of first-party cookies: the ones it needs to sign you in, and a few that remember how you like the portal to look. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics, so there’s nothing to opt in to — the essential ones are what make signing in work.
| Cookie | What it does | Type and lifetime |
|---|---|---|
nv-access | Keeps you signed in (a short-lived sign-in token). | Essential · 15 minutes |
nv-refresh | Renews your sign-in without asking for your password again. | Essential · 7 days, or until you sign out |
nv-client | Keeps a client signed in to the client portal. | Essential · 12 hours |
nv-theme | Remembers light or dark mode. | Preference · 1 year |
nv-sidebar | Remembers whether the sidebar is collapsed. | Preference · 1 year |
nv-branding | Remembers the colours and name an administrator applied, so pages open already themed. | Preference · 1 year |
You can clear or block cookies in your browser; if you block the essential ones you won’t be able to sign in. More on how data is handled: the privacy policy.
